Why build your career at KIPP?

At KIPP, you never stop learning.

We know that great teachers have the biggest impact on student achievement in our schools. That’s why we provide our teachers with so many opportunities to continue learning and growing as professionals. Throughout the year KIPP teachers engage in school and region-wide professional development days, participate in professional learning communities, and attend our annual conference called the KIPP School Summit (KSS), where they can learn from some of the best educators in the country.

The best way discover if KIPP is right for you is to visit a KIPP school. In the meantime:

At KIPP, you have the support of a national network.

A common saying at KIPP is “Team Always Beats Individual.” We foster a culture of collaboration within our school buildings and across state lines, as we all work toward the same goal of supporting our students to and through college. As part of one larger team, our teachers learn from each other’s successes and challenges, taking advantage of lesson plans, strategies, and innovative ideas from peers across the country.

Harriett Ball Excellence in Teaching

The Harriett Ball Excellence in Teaching Award, named after Dave Levin and Mike Feinberg's mentor, recognizes outstanding teachers from the KIPP network. The winning teachers, who were nominated by their school leaders, were recognized for their leadership in and dedication to improving outcomes for students in underserved communities.
