While KIPP school leaders come from diverse backgrounds, all of our school leaders have demonstrated instructional leadership experience both as teachers and as valued members of their school communities. KIPP school leaders choose to found or lead schools to make a difference in the lives of underserved youth and sustain excellence for many years to come.
Before founding KIPP schools, Fisher and Miles Family Fellows undergo rigorous training through the KIPP School Leadership Programs, including academic coursework during the Summer Institute, coaching from seasoned KIPP staff, and residencies in high-performing schools.
KIPP is committed to equal treatment for all individuals. KIPP does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, disability, age, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin.
